Terms of Use
The main rules for using LatchTrade.
These terms explain what LatchTrade provides, what you are responsible for, and the limits that apply when you use hosted Polymarket copy-trading bots.
1. Agreement to These Terms
By accessing or using LatchTrade, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
These Terms govern your use of the LatchTrade website, dashboard, hosted bot infrastructure, support channels, and related features.
2. Description of the Service
LatchTrade is a hosted software service that lets users configure and run Polymarket copy-trading bots. A bot can follow a public Polymarket wallet and attempt to place corresponding trades using the settings the user has chosen.
LatchTrade provides hosted infrastructure, execution tooling, dashboards, logs, settings, and related account management features. LatchTrade does not promise profits, does not guarantee that copied trades will execute, and does not guarantee that copied results will match any public trader’s results.
3. Eligibility and User Responsibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use LatchTrade.
You are responsible for determining whether it is lawful for you to use LatchTrade, Polymarket, and any related trading setup in your jurisdiction.
You are responsible for the settings, wallets, funding levels, trading keys, and copied traders you choose to use.
4. Accounts, Authentication, and Wallet Setup
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your LatchTrade account and any wallet or trading credentials you connect to the service.
LatchTrade may require your trading key so a hosted bot can authorize trades on your behalf. That key is encrypted and stored separately from the main application database in dedicated secret storage, but you remain responsible for supplying the correct credentials and for deciding whether to use a dedicated trading wallet.
If you provide incorrect wallet information, insufficiently funded wallets, or the wrong credentials, your bot may fail or behave in a way you did not intend.
5. Subscriptions, Billing, and Bot Access
LatchTrade is a subscription-based service. Each purchased bot may be billed as its own subscription unless otherwise stated.
Pricing, renewals, cancellations, billing behavior, and access controls may change over time. We may update prices or plan details in the future.
Payment processing and customer billing tools may involve third-party providers. Your access to paid bot features may be suspended or removed if payment fails, a subscription expires, or abuse is detected.
6. Acceptable Use
You may not use LatchTrade to break the law, interfere with platform operations, abuse shared infrastructure, or attempt to access accounts, data, or bot instances that do not belong to you.
You may not reverse engineer, scrape, overload, attack, or misuse the service, nor may you use the service to facilitate fraud, market abuse, sanctions evasion, or other unlawful conduct.
We may suspend, limit, or terminate access where we reasonably believe the service is being misused or where continued access would create legal, operational, or security risk.
7. Intellectual Property
LatchTrade and its related software, branding, interface, site content, bot logic, design, and operational materials remain the property of LatchTrade or its licensors.
Your use of the service does not transfer ownership of the platform or any of its intellectual property. You receive only a limited right to use the service while your access is active and while you comply with these Terms.
8. No Financial, Legal, or Tax Advice
LatchTrade is a software and infrastructure tool. It is not a financial advisor, broker, exchange, custodian, investment manager, law firm, or tax advisor.
Nothing on the site, including trader pages, leaderboard-style pages, logs, support communications, product copy, or account metrics, is financial, legal, or tax advice.
9. Service Disclaimers
LatchTrade is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.
We do not guarantee uptime, availability, uninterrupted service, error-free operation, accurate third-party data, successful trade execution, or profitable outcomes.
Maintenance, outages, software defects, cloud failures, queue failures, wallet issues, Polymarket changes, liquidity conditions, and other third-party dependencies may affect how the service behaves.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LatchTrade will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the service.
That includes, for example, trading losses, missed trades, rejected trades, slippage, downtime, service interruptions, queue failures, wallet mistakes, infrastructure failures, public market behavior, regulatory changes, or third-party outages.
If applicable law does not allow full exclusion of liability, LatchTrade’s aggregate liability for claims arising out of the service will be limited to the amount you paid to LatchTrade for the affected subscription period immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold LatchTrade harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and costs arising out of your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your use of the service in a way that exposes LatchTrade to third-party claims.
12. Suspension, Termination, and Changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time. We may also suspend or terminate access if payment fails, subscriptions expire, legal or security concerns arise, or these Terms are violated.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of LatchTrade after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
